Several Mini Projects to Start Summer
With summer starting today, I knew I needed to be ready to start it off right (okay at least look like I did). I found this great site everyone should check out. I love this blog; she’s definitely got her act together!
Her name is Sarah and she’s the mom of 4 boys (and a little girl!). She’s got a whole bunch of ideas to keep your kids busy for the summer… while she’s got a list of 30+ things to do (it’s on my pinterest page)…here are a few of my favorites (using items you probably already have at home):
- Ninja Stress Balls -> These are definitely in our future. I have been told they hold up really well. And I know I’ll need one for the summer (LOL). And I can hope they won’t be used as balls thrown at each other…okay, maybe I need to rethink this project…hmmmmm…thinking, thinking, yep still doing it. Stress ball is definitely something I’ll need this summer! Natural consequence, throw one at your brother (he will definitely get you back, most likly immediately), so I’m thinking it will only happen once b/c they will discover it hurts A LOT. So, it’s worth it!
- Making a marble game -> My boys love knocking things down, and it is something that all 3 of the kids can play together and we have them around my house.
- Doing card tricks -> all my kids like to entertain me…and well, I can 75% pay attention to these and they can have fun (I mean pay FULL attention to these b/c I always give my kids my full attention ALL the time.)
THANK YOU SARAH!!
Always remember you are AWESOMESAUCE!
